It is time to get mischievous! ElePepe here. I have played battlerite since the release of early access, with a total of 8237 games played. In 5635 of those games, I have played Ezmo. Ezmo has been my go-to character for ranked ever since he got released, and together we have climbed to Grand Champion the last 4 seasons. I am here to give you guys a guide on how to play Ezmo!
Mouse 1 – Arcane Fire Launch a bolt of arcane fire that deals 8 damage. -The M1 ability will be your main source of dealing damage. Mouse 2 – Chaos Grip Hold to charge a projectile for up to 1.3s to increase damage and distance. The projectile deals 12-20 damage, knocks nearby enemies back and pulls enemies far away towards you. -The M2 ability is great in multiple situations. It is great for closing the gap between you and your target. But it can also be used to knockback enemies who get a bit too close. Space – Displace Turn into arcane energy, travel to target location and recharge Arcane Fire (M1). Can be recast. -Ezmo’s space ability is his only mobility spell, use it wisely! Q – Arcane Barrier Negate projectile and melee attacks in front of you. Negating attacks recharges Arcane Fire (M1). You receive 1 charge per 10 damage absorbed or 1 charge for each non-damaging attack. -Never use the Q-ability for the purpose of getting M1 stacks. Save it to absorb and negate high damage abilities. E – Shackle Strike target location to deal 8 area damage and Root enemies in the area. (Root: Target is unable to move 2s) -The E-ability is good for denying enemies the opportunity of escaping behind walls. R – Tome of Destruction Summon the Tome of Destruction at target location. The tome mimics your Arcane Fire (M1) attacks. Mimicked Arcane Fire attacks does 4 damage. (Cost: 25% energy). -The R-ability is great for punishing enemies who are out of ways to escape. Use it a lot! Ultimate (F) – Grimoire of Chaos Throw the Grimoire of Chaos to target location. The power of the grimoire draws nearby enemies towards it. It explodes after 2s dealing 55 damage. (Cost: 100% energy). -Ezmo’s ultimate is very strong, but it is easy to escape the grimoire! Make sure your enemies are out of mobility abilities when using this ability. M2 and E are good for making sure your enemies does not escape this. EX M1 – Siphon Life Channel a beam that deals 32 damage and heals self for 32 health on hit over the duration. (Cost: 50% energy). -This ability is Ezmo’s only way of self healing. It is easily interrupted, so keep an eye on the cooldowns of your enemy, otherwise you will find yourself using 50% energy for 4 damage and 4 health. It does not trigger counters, use it against characters with counter to avoid getting punished. Also a great ability for when enemies stack up! EX Q – Arcane Ward Shield a target ally. It absorbs up to 24 damage and grants max Arcane Fire (M1) charges if destroyed by damage. (Cost 25% energy). –EX Q will allow you to trade back while negating damage.

M1 – Exhaust Landing 3 consecutive Arcane Fires (M1) inflicts a 0.4s Fading Snare. M2 – Collapse Chaos Grip (M2) deals 4-8 bonus damage, based on charge-up duration. M2 – Disruption Chaos Grip (M2) Silences target hit for 0.3-0.6s depending en change-up duration. M2 – Warlock’s Grip Chaos Grip (M2) range increases by up to 25% when fully charged. Space – Chaos Barrage Displace (Space) grants 1 extra Arcane Fire (M1) charge. Space – Whizz Using Displace (Space) grants a 60% Fading Haste for 2s. Space – Wreak Havoc Displace (Space) increases your Arcane Fire (M1) attack speed by 30% for 2.5s. Q – Feedback Recast Arcane Barrier (Q) to fire a projectile dealing 4 damage per weapon charge stored. Q – Imp Rush Arcane Barrier (Q) increases your movement speed by 40%. Also reduces its cooldown by 1s. Q – Spell Eater Negating attacks with Arcane Barrier (Q) grants twice as many weapon charges. For each charge gained, heal yourself for 6 health. E – Bolted Shackle (E) hits grant 1 weapon charge and increase Arcane Fire (M1) range by 50% until the next reload. E – Face Melt Arcane Fire (M1) deals 2 bonus damage to enemies rooted by Shackle (E). E – Undermine Shackle (E) inflicts Weaken, reducing target’s damage and healing output by 50% for 3s. R – Tome of Restoration Tome of Destruction (R) leashes onto nearby allies, healing for 16 health over the duration. Ultimate (F) – Grimoire of Death Increases pull force of Grimoire of Chaos (F) by 25%. It deals 10 bonus damage.
